Troy Workshops

At Troy High School’s Open House event, STEMUp4Youth hosted an engaging, hands-on recycling activity for Fullerton’s GATE program students. Students learned about the importance of recycling and created their own paper crafts from shredded scrap paper. Our volunteers assisted the students in this process while reminding them about the significance of reusing, reducing, and recycling. Later in the school year, we also brought our activities to our own school’s students. To help promote mental health and wellness, we hosted a paper-windmill making booth in Troy’s Student Wellness Fair.
